Chefs Bring the Flavor!

The chefs really brought the fun and the flavor to the second day of the Aspen Food & Wine Classic. And since most of us weren’t there for the frivolities since this annual event sold out in record time, fortunately, some of the participating chefs shared their unique artistic and creative perspectives via their Instagrams. Let’s take a look.

The incredible beauty of the festival’s locale was captured “hiking boots on the ground” by Chef Jonathan Waxman in these great photos of his nature sojourns on scenic Aspen Mountain. Soak it up at: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVaBWz5FMlv/?taken-by=chefjwaxman&hl=en and https://www.instagram.com/p/BVc4TJclm6F/?taken-by=chefjwaxman&hl=en Very relaxing, Chef!

But wait, there’s more. Chef brothers, Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, knew that the top of Aspen Mountain would be one great shot to showcase a dish. See their great photo collaboration at: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVdvzx2h54q/?taken-by=mvoltaggio&hl=en
I’d be inspired by that view, too, Chefs!

And at the base of the mountain, there was another kind of fun going on. What’s a little “down” time between presentations than a good old-fashioned chug-a-lug among chefs? This video made me laugh: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVdvfr1hl1V/?taken-by=stephandthegoat&hl=en
Thanks Chef Stephanie Izard for letting us join in on the fun!

Remember, chefs can be fanboys (and fangirls!), too, especially when it comes to those they hold in high esteem. Love this spontaneous photo of chefs loving on other chefs. Have no idea what or who turned them on, as they’ve yet to admit, but  a wonderful shot all the same. To view, go to: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVYyMgpBNW9/?taken-by=mvoltaggio&hl=en

So, that’s a wrap until next year. Here’s a lovely final shot from the folks at Food & Wine who put on the the event: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVf55XFDg4E/?taken-by=foodandwine&hl=en And remember to stay up to date on all the fun, interesting and exciting Chef happenings here at: “Follow That Chef!” Thanks!
